Perfect World bot: what each private server allows (and bans)

People looking for a Perfect World bot, or a “PW bot”, almost always want the same thing: to play several accounts without doing everything by hand. Before you pick a program, the question that matters is what your private server’s rules allow. The rules decide the ban, not the program.

A heads-up: our server database is still mostly Brazilian. The servers below are Brazilian, plus Heaven PW, which is international. If you play somewhere else, the logic is the same: find your server’s rules and read them with the questions in this post.

Bots, macros and multi-client are not the same thing

A bot plays on its own, without you: AFK farming, auto-forging, leveling overnight. That is what nearly every server bans.
A macro presses a sequence of keys for you, like a combo. Some servers allow it; others call it an “abusive macro”.
Multi-client (multiboxing) opens and controls several accounts while you play. Many servers let you open several accounts; what changes from one to the next is what the program may do in them.

What each server’s rules say

Based on the official rules, checked on October 17, 2026. The Brazilian servers’ rules are in Portuguese; this is a summary. Rules change, so check the link before you play.

The Classic PW (1.2.6 and 1.8.7)

Rule 2.2.1: bans third-party programs, bots, macros and auto-pots used to get around the anti-AFK, gather resources or hunt monsters without the player.
Rule 2.2.5: allows “exclusively” programs that store accounts (quick login) and automatic combos that simulate the manual combo, with the player present.
Rule 3.1.4: bans “mirror” programs that follow a character or repeat an action on several accounts with a single command. PvE combos are the exception.
Rule 2.2.6: bans getting around the per-computer character limit in dungeons, events and maps.
Rule 3.4.3 (1.8.7 only): bans programs that change how skills work, such as Skillsender or tools that cancel the animation.

In short: quick login and PvE combos are fine; following the leader and repeating actions are not. In PvP, a combo on several accounts with one command also falls under 3.1.4. Penalties can hit your IP, your The Classic ID and your HWID. The Classic rules

PW Elite (1.3.6)

Section 08: bans gaining an advantage through means the game does not officially provide, as well as unauthorized automation scripts, bots, abusive macros and automatic farming, plus DLL injection, memory editing and packet manipulation.
No window limit is written. Several accounts or a virtual machine are only banned when used to get around a limit or a penalty.

Penalties can hit both the account and the device. PW Elite rules

Heaven Perfect World (1.2.6 and 1.4.6)

Limits windows per map: 2 in Palace of Nirvana, Tournament and Warsong City; 3 in Valley of Reciprocity; 1 in Nation Wars.

Meta PW (1.7.4) and Meta PW Clássico

Item 7.1: treats bot use and client modification as irregular actions, with severe penalties. The rules say nothing about multi-client.
The Meta PW 1.7.4 client already ships with Skillsender and leader targeting built in.

The server list has the version, status and rules summary for each one, also by version: 1.2.6, 1.3.6, 1.4.6 and 1.8.7.

Is PW Overlay a bot?

No. PW Overlay does not play for you: it opens your accounts, sets up the party, runs the combo for as long as you set and repeats on the followers what you do on the leader, with you at the PC. It does not inject DLLs, does not read or change the game’s memory and does not touch packets; it sends keys and clicks through Windows’ own messages.

Even so, on a server that bans following the leader or repeating actions, do not use those features. Each feature has its own shortcut, so you can use only what the rules allow.

How not to get banned

Read your server’s rules before installing any program.
If in doubt, ask on the official Discord and keep a screenshot of the answer.
Respect the window limit per map and per computer.
Stay at your PC. Nearly every server punishes AFK farming.
Be wary of any “undetectable bot”: whoever promises one usually asks for your password or ships a virus.
