Perfect World 1.8.7: servers and multiboxing
1.8.x is modern Perfect World, from 2022 to 2024 in China, with the Bard as its new class; PWI got the Bard in December 2024. 1.8.7 private servers also list the Reaper.

The 1.8.7 server in our database is Brazil’s The Classic PW 1.8.7. It follows The Classic network’s rules (quick login and PvE combos allowed; following the leader and replaying actions banned) and adds rule 3.4.3, which bans programs that change how skills work, such as Skillsender or animation canceling.
By 1.8.x the game has the classes of every earlier expansion: those of 1.4.2 and 1.4.4, the two of the 1.5.x line, the three of 1.7.x and, last, the Bard.

PW Overlay on this version
The modern client is very different from 1.2.6: interface, party window and sometimes the executable itself change. PW Overlay hasn’t been tested on a 1.8.7 server yet; the first time, teach the app the party buttons (it asks on its own).
Three things change from client to client and matter here: where the executable is (in the root, in element/ or in element/x64/), the login arguments (classic clients take startbypatcher with account, password and character; from 1.5.5 on, some ask you to pick the server or log in through the launcher) and where the party window buttons are.
