Primal PW: 3 windows per account and no automation
Primal PW is a multinational 1.3.6 server that moves through “Eras”, now in its Bone Era. Its multi-client rule is the Acceptable Use Policy’s “Three-Window Rule”: each account may run up to 3 game windows at once, locked per machine by HWID in the launcher. The same policy bans any unauthorized automation that plays or interacts on your behalf, so with PW Overlay, opening your windows is all the rules leave.

You log in through Primal’s own launcher (the “Desktop Super-App”, with “Passwordless Entry” through a local token), and the launcher locks the 3-window limit by HWID. Not tested with PW Overlay.
From the Primal website and its stats API, as recorded in PW Overlay’s database on October 21, 2026: 3,506 people on the waitlist and 1,103 HWIDs registered, while the site’s counter showed 0 players online; the Discord “Primal.pw” had 636 members (75 online). The rules quoted are the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service linked in the site’s footer.
How to use PW Overlay here
- One person, one account, three windows: each person keeps one primary account (AUP 3.2), and that account can run up to 3 game windows at once (AUP 3.1). The launcher enforces 3 per machine by HWID, and getting around it with virtual machines, other machines, remote desktop or shared accounts is banned.
- Don’t use PW Overlay’s party, buffs, assist, follow, combo and Attack together features here: AUP 4 bans bots, macros, scripts, auto-clickers “or any unauthorized automation” used to play, farm or interact “on your behalf”, and Terms 7.1 bans automation that interacts with the platform. Primal says it detects automation through device identifiers, telemetry and behavioral analysis.
- Opening your 3 windows is what the rules allow. Primal logs you in through its own launcher, with passwordless entry, and PW Overlay hasn’t been tested with it: we don’t know yet whether its auto login works there. Both rules say “unauthorized”: before using any outside program, even just to open the windows, ask on the Primal Discord (discord.com/invite/J5cUSeqNF7) and keep the written reply.
- PW Overlay doesn’t inject DLLs, doesn’t change the game’s memory and doesn’t touch packets: it sends keys and clicks through Windows itself.
- Primal’s website doesn’t state a version: the 1.3.6 comes from its gtop100 listing. Other 1.3.6 servers, and what the version has, are on the version 1.3.6 page.
