What is PW Overlay?
A Windows app for people who play Perfect World with several accounts at once (a multi client, or multiboxing tool). It launches the clients, logs into the accounts and lets you control the party from a panel stuck to the game or from hotkeys.
Can I run two Perfect World clients at the same time?
Yes, as many as your PC can handle. PW Overlay launches one client per saved account and logs into each one by itself, so you don’t have to open and log in one by one.
Does it work on private servers?
It works with the Perfect World client installed on your PC, from a private or official server. You point to the game folder and it finds elementclient.exe on its own, even in clients with a different folder layout.
Can I get banned for using it?
It depends on your server’s rules. Many servers allow multi-client, but some forbid automation tools. Read your server’s rules before using it: each player is responsible for their own account.
Is PW Overlay a bot?
It’s not a bot that plays on its own. It runs what you ask for right away (create party, follow, buffs) and repeats on your followers what you did on the leader. Combos only run for the time you set, and you stay in control of the party.
Are my passwords safe?
Passwords stay on your computer only, encrypted with Windows data protection (DPAPI) and tied to your Windows user. PW Overlay doesn’t send your passwords anywhere.
Does it move my mouse and keyboard?
During an action (create party, replay, buffs) it switches between game windows and sends keys and clicks for you. It takes a few seconds: wait for it to finish before you move.
Do I need to run it as administrator?
Only if your Perfect World runs as administrator. Windows blocks input coming from a program with fewer permissions, so both need to run at the same level.
How many accounts can I open?
PW Overlay has no limit. Your PC (memory and graphics card) and your server’s rules are the limit.
Does it work on any resolution?
Yes. Clicks are calculated from each game window’s position and the party window is pinned to the same spot when accounts open, so it works across resolutions and monitors.
What language is the app in?
The app interface is in Portuguese. It’s mostly icons and hotkeys, so it’s easy to use even if you don’t speak the language.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
No. PW Overlay is Windows 10 and 11 only.
How do I update it?
You don’t have to do anything: the app downloads new versions by itself and installs them when you’re not playing.
