Yes, you can multibox Perfect World in fullscreen: in PW Overlay, each account opens filling your whole monitor, and Shift+↓ takes you to the next one instantly, with no black screen, no alt-tab and nothing touched inside the game. You play one account at a time at the game’s real size, with the skill bar, chat and map easy to read, and any alt in your party is one Shift+↓ away. Opening your accounts, fullscreen and switching accounts are free, with no account limit.
Why fullscreen changes multiboxing
Anyone who plays several PW accounts usually ends up picking between two bad options. Either each account gets a small window, side by side, and the skill bar, chat and map turn tiny; or you use the game’s own fullscreen and live in alt-tab. And the fullscreen in PW’s own settings goes black on every window switch (we tested it): each switch turns into a wait.
PW Overlay opens each account in borderless fullscreen: a window exactly the size of your monitor, with no title bar. To you, it’s fullscreen; to Windows, it’s a regular window, so switching accounts is instant, just like clicking the taskbar. You can take every account to TT, Nirvana, Frost or any dungeon at the game’s real size, and see up close what each alt is doing when you need to.
How to turn it on in 3 steps
- It’s already on: on your server’s card in the app, the button that shows the resolution (for example, 2560×1440) starts at your monitor’s fullscreen. Haven’t set up your party yet? Start with the multibox guide.
- Click “Open accounts”. Each account opens, logs in on its own and stays in fullscreen.
- Press Shift+↓ to go to the next account and Shift+↑ to go back. You can also click the account’s name on the app’s panel.
Want to jump straight to one account? Settings → Shortcuts has “Go to window 1” through 10, with no key set by default: set only the ones for the accounts you use (window 1 is the leader’s). With more than one party, Ctrl+Tab switches from one party to another.
Lower resolution for a weaker PC
The same button on the card lets you pick a resolution below your monitor’s: 1920×1080, 1600×900, 1366×768 or 1280×720 (on a 16:10 monitor, the ones with the same ratio, like 1920×1200). The game draws only at that size, and the window sits in the middle of the screen. With the accounts open, the change takes effect right away. If your PC struggles with many accounts, also see how to keep background windows running without freezing.
Prefer the old way? The switch in the same menu turns borderless fullscreen off, and the game goes back to opening the way its own settings say.
Can it get you banned? What the app touches
Your server decides: it’s the one that says how many accounts you may open and what you may do with them. Before you start your party, check whether multiboxing is allowed on your server.
On the app’s side, switching accounts is the same as clicking the taskbar: it just brings the account’s window to the front. For fullscreen, it removes the window’s border, the way Windows itself does, and sets the resolution in the same options file PW uses when you change it in the game’s own settings. Nothing inside the game: no injection, no memory reading.
What’s free
Opening your accounts, auto login, the overlay and switching accounts, in fullscreen or not, are free, with no account limit and no ads. Premium is for the party commands on one key: forming the party, buffs, leader’s target, follow leader, combo and Attack together, always within what your server allows.
Borderless fullscreen has been in PW Overlay since version 2.8.73, released on October 23, 2026.
